Has Joan Didion Moved To Bay Ridge????????????

                                I think this happened on Thursday, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We were leaving the apartment for work, and had just crossed on Ridge, to the apartment across from us, when we saw a woman who somewhat resembled the woman in the drawing.  Maybe she was a bit older, with disheveled, shoulder length blonde hair that was so limp and unclean.  She was dressed in a bathrobe, clearly was in her own zone, and was pacing back and forth, in front of the building, smoking a cigarette.

                                My first thought was it was Joan Didion.  But what would she be doing here?  Joan may be a Debbie Downer, but she is a California Girl, at heart!

                                 We were afraid the woman had escaped--from the nursing home, her caregivers, whatever.  Then I came up with the bright idea that maybe the woman had read too much Joan Didion!!!!!!!!!  Believe me, that can do a number on you!

                                  So, now we have an exciting new addition to watch for, in the neighborhood!   What kind of place is this?

                                    Meanwhile, the woman has not been seen, since!!!!!!!!!!!!
