"Another Winter In A Summer Town," Darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                             "Across the morning sky,
                                               All the birds are leaving.
Ah, but how soon do they know,
It's time for them to go?"
---Judy Collins, "Who Knows Where The Time Goes?"

Sadly, my dears, it is appropriate to think of this song.  Labor Day has ended, and so, unofficially, has Summer.  I mean, technically we  have fifteen days left, but, for all intents, the season is History. And what a lovely Summer it was.

Still, when the Summer places shut up, and are deserted for the next nine months, especially the chill of winter, one gives pause. Maybe that accounts for the underlying anxiety I am feeling.

And what better way to acknowledge it all, with Christine Ebersole from "Grey Gardens????????????

                                    Happy Fall, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
