See What I Mean, Girls???????????????

What ever happened to whimsy?  It used to be the hallmark of Disney enterprises, but now it seems to be a thing of the past!  And God forbid such things should be preserved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is another example of what I mean. The giant Sorcerer's Apprentice hat, which Mickey Mouse wore in 1940's "Fantasia," opened on September 28, 2001.  It was an iconic screen symbol, that should have been preserved forever.  Alas,  it was demolished and removed on
January 7. 2015.  Again, straight male corporate stupidity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, now, advanced technology and lurid dragon and Jurassic fantasies are more important than whimsy????????????  Will the pendulum ever swing back?  I hope so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least, Disneyland has improved, over the years!

Disney World keeps going down the tubes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, well!  It was built on a swamp, and to a swamp it shall return!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. Apparently people complained that it blocked the view of the Chinese Theatre.

  2. Victoria,
Now that I did not know.
I concede that might be a problem,
but surely it could have been
    moved somewhere else?
