Welcome to the month of months, girls, because, in addition to my birthday, the year speeds up like a silent movie played at the wrong speed. Thanksgiving, Chanukah, Christmas, New Years' Eve, New Years' Day, and David's birthday, on January 1---all in a span of six weeks! The action never stops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We also celebrate Musical Theater Week on here, which occurs from November13-18. And we have Svengoolie fun coming up and look what he has in store for us.
November 5--"Abbott And Costello Meet Frankenstein--" The 1948 horror comedy classic, and a fond farewell to all the leading Universal monsters.
November 12--"X--The Man With The X-Ray Eyes--" Ray Milland's biggest horror triumph near the end of his career. Having never seen this before, I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 19--"Fiend Without A Face--" The 1958 classic, where the blobby round globules break open into strawberry jelly! A MUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
November 26--"The Crawling Eye--" The 1958 classic, and one of my favorites. You want this eye to wink at you, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And that's just for starters. Books to be read, records to be broken, and celebrations galore! Don't forget Black Friday. So much fun to watch live greed on TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and November 3 is the birthdays of Gojira and ANNA WINTOUR! What a day that will be! And what a power NYC couple!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like an exciting November! Here's to you, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for always lifting my spirits!
ReplyDeleteThere is always something to look forward to, to be thankful for.
I don’t even think I am “suffering from depression” so much as,
I am understandably sad about genuine sorrows...
the Human Condition...
Victoria,
ReplyDeleteThe human condition has always presented problems.
Read Dickens' "The Old Curiosity Shop" or Thackeray's
"Vanity Fair" which prove my point. And are wonderful
novels.
