                                           Like Betsy Palmer with "Friday The 13th," I am sure that when all was said and done that Darren McGavin had no idea this would be his signature role!

                                            But--

                                            Girls, I urge you, if you have never seen it, then, by all means tune in.  However, if you have already seen this, and aren't a fan, there is no reason to tune in.  We are going to watch something else, and I will report on that in posts to come.

                                               McGavin is really good in this role, and it is a pleasure to watch his performance.  But the story is slow moving, and the film really did nothing for me.

                                                 So, those who wish to tune in, I urge you to.  If you want to watch something else, then do so, and let me know.
