The End Of An Era, Darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                          For the past 15 years I have been with David, Sunday mornings at 8:35 have always meant listening to a commentary from our beloved Sister Camille D'Arienzo, of the Sisters Of Mercy, on 1010 WINS.

                          Imagine our shock this morning, when, prior to the commentary, the announcer stated that she had been doing this for the past 50 years, and that this morning would be her last commentary.

                             David and I were shocked.  But Sister Camille came through, bidding an affectionate farewell to all her friends and listeners, who have been so kind to her.  And to those of us who always found comfort and inspiration from her every Sunday.

                               Things will not be the same.  Nevertheless, I wish Sister Camille a well-earned retirement and continued good health.  She will always be a treasured portion of my life.
