Congratulations, Amy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing about last night's Oscars made me happier--and I mean NOTHING--than Amy Madigan winning Best Supporting Actress for her campy and chilling portrayal of Aunt Gladys in "Weapons."

America has taken Aunt Gladys to its heart.  I still say she is not as difficult as Gladys Cooper in "The Song Of Bernadette."

She is a combination of an urbane Mary Poppins, Bette Davis and your most intrusive relative.  But she is such a hoot, walks off with the film, and who would not want Aunt Gladys to pay a visit????????????????????????????

Congratulations, Amy!  Rarely in recent years has an Oscar been awarded so justly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. I had a strong feeling she would win, but you never know.
I can’t watch awards shows anymore.
I heard this one was excruciatingly long, and that some of the winners were embarrassingly self-righteous.
