Double Your Pleasure, On This 'SVU", Girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let me tell you, darlings, from the moment that Gabriel Thomas (played by T.R. Knight) said he had been adopted, I knew then what was coming!!!!!!! Not really watching that much TV, I had never seen Knight, even though he appeared here in town in the short lived revival of Mamet's "A Life In The Theater", with Patrick Stewart. But, honey, not since the days of "The Patty Duke Show," has twinship been such fun. I am sure Knight had as much of a field day playing both Gabriel and Brian as Elizabeth Montgomery had playing Samantha and Serena on "Bewitched."

Poor Olivia. She has become such a Gloomy Gus. Now, I know she is upset about Elliot--I mean, aren't we all, darlings???--but I have to wonder if the writers are doing this in a concerted effort to make Olivia more disliked, in order to allow Mariska a hasty retreat next season. You have to wonder!!!!!!!!!

And Gabriel's wife!!!!!!! What a grade A bitch!!!!!!!! After he stands by her during a miscarriage, she has the nerve to think he could even be capable of the crimes he was accused of. Until the twin thing presented itself, I was at least entertaining the thought of a lesion in his brain, or maybe an advanced illness, like the syphilis Richard Thomas had in his episode, could have enabled Gabriel to commit crimes he had no memory of doing. But I just did not get the sense of him as a rapist.

Now, girls, how about that Mommy???? White trash Mom gives up twin boys for adoption; how does it happen one lands on Easy Street, the other in White Trashville??? Hell, Brian's childhood would have made an episode in itself--a birth mother who abandons him to a piece of trash who kills her husband in front of him, when he is old enough to remember. It was like Brian never had a chance, but he was so beyond help one could not feel sorry for him. Though that final shot of Gabriel looking through the glass at him, made me wonder--will these brothers be brought back???? With T.R. Knight playing them, it might be worth it!!!!!!!!!!!

But I figured this one out, in the first half hour, darlings!!!!!!!! Elliot or not, there is no excuse for sloppy, unoriginal writing--this twin thing has been done before, most recently in the horror thriller, "Dream House."

T.R. Knight provided the pleasure this week. But if things don't improve, this season will not be a pleasure, and the show will go down like a sunken ship, instead of the winner it has hitherto been!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's have some better writing, guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
