That's Knit-Two, Pearl-One, Darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Girls, no sooner have we gotten over July 4th, then we come to another Bastille Day!!!  The fun just never stops, I am telling you!!!!  "Let them eat cake!" as Marie Antoinette said.

What does one eat on Bastille Day, I wonder????  Beef Bourguignon in the Summer would just be too much?????  Maybe a nice, light, Coq Au Vin, and heavy on the Vin??????

And what would Bastille Day be, without Madame DeFarge???? We just
LOVE her, darlings, especially as played by Blanche Yurka in the 1936 David O. Selznick film version of Charles Dickens' "A Tale Of Two Cities."  Would you believe that this is the same actress, who, seven years later, portrayed Aunt Bernarde Casterot in "The Song Of Bernadette?"  That's right, dolls!!!!!!!!

So, here is wishing everyone a Happy Bastille Day!  Whether you eat cake, or just drink wine!!!!!!!

                                    Allons ons, mes enfants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
