And Here Is Something Else Veteran's Day Means, Girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                    Remember, in the 1936 Shirley Temple film, "Poor Little Rich Girl," when Alice Faye sang "I Love A Military Man?"  Hons, I am telling you, some of us who were still children back when we first saw this, understood fully what she meant!

                                      So, now I am going to share this moment with all of you!  But it won't have the period charm of the photo, because 20th Century-Fox made some big errors when they colorized films like Shirley's, not to mention "Miracle On 34th Street."  The black-and-white photography lent an authenticity to the period, especially as these films aged.  Come on; after 1952, and "The Quiet Man," everyone knew Maureen O'Hara had red hair.  Folks probably knew it before!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                       Alas, what the sequence loses in period authenticity it makes up with Veteran's Day verve!  So here is Shirley, Alice, and a pre-"Wizard Of Oz" Jack Haley!  Enjoy!
