Jamie Lee Is Looking Real Good, As The Killer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even though I still may be wrong, I am going with Jamie Lee as the killer on "Scream Queens." That Dean Munch is some piece of work! A real career bitch! If she does not watch out, someone is going to munch on her.
And once again, this issue of vagina dentata came up. Which made me think--what about dental work? Who does it--the gynecologist? And what about a cavity, or an abscess? Ouch!!!!!!!!!!! As for extractions, I am not even going to go there! I just hope a general anaesthetic is used!
Tuesday's episode gave us plenty to think about. Like Chad being the next victim--I hope!--because he is the dumbest jock of that stereotype I have ever seen!
And what about Jamie doing her mother's scene from "Psycho?" How can she, in a strait-jacket???????????
Or maybe that is STRAIGHT jacket, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Much as we'd love it, no way is Jamie Lee the killer. For better and worse, we live in the internet age, where a glut of spurious information prematurely sucks the joy out of shows like this. Its been leaked everywhere that Ryan Murphy is desperately pitching the second season to indifferent Fox executives, with the premise of four characters surviving (but transplanted to another locale). Given Curtis' flat refusal to move to New Orleans for the duration of the shooting season, it is unlikely she signed more than a one-season guest contract. So odds are she dies in the shower, else why bother with the tribute to "Psycho" at all? Also, they've already done the cliche "not really dead" bit with Nick Jonas, implying he's one of the two devils. The second Devil is clearly enamored with ZayDay, suggesting another frat boy perp. Naseem Pedrad is the puppet master, who doesn't like Munsch. Jamie has been positioned as the nemesis of Pedrad and all the girls going back 20 years: they have motive to kill her, she has nothing really pushing her to kill them first. None of this leaves much wiggle room to finesse Jamie as the major killer unless Moron Murphy does one of his patented nonsensical plot contrivances. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteBefore the ink was even dry on the script for Jamie's "Psycho" homage, word was already out the show has been a disastrous misfire for Fox and is sinking fast. Ryan has been feverishly spinning delusional attempts at damage control on Twitter for weeks now, to no avail. Maybe this will serve as a wake-up call to his hubris, and stop his creative death spiral into total juvenility (all his shows at this point are the artistic equivalent "Porky's" with a gay slant: ooooh, Ryan, you're so edgy! NOT.)
ReplyDeleteYes, David and I look more to this show as something we have to see thorough to the end. On this basis, I would never give it a second season. David thinks the investigative boy friend is the killer'; he may be right. But, at this point, aside from Jamie Lee, who cares? This show is very close to Paula Zahn territory--it serves as a potent sleep aid!
