Here Are The Playing Tokens From The Edition I Had Of "Go To The Head Of The Class!!!!!!!!" See Why I Always Wanted To Be Bonnie???????????? Vintage Board Game #6!!!!!!!!!!

The Milton Bradley toy company always had a key as its logo, proclaiming their products to be "The key to fun and learning."  They really took this to extremes with the immensely popular "Go To The Head Of The Class," of which there were many editions.

This game seemed to be immensely popular among children during the second and third grade school years, when, for some of us school was still fun, and we were learning new things. Once we moved on to fourth grade, some of us got wise and smart alecky, with yours truly referring to this game as "Go To The Head Of You Ass," or "Stick Your Head In Your Ass."  I kid you not!

But, when played during our heyday, it was fun--as long as I got be Bonnie.  Too bad I did not turn out looking like Bonnie.  Bet she was popular in school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   The board was colorful, and, even, with countless games, the book of answers was memorized, valuable points were learned.  This was where I discovered the existence of a book that would later have a profound effect on me, as one of my favorites--"Wuthering Heights."

So, there were some things actually learned in the playing.  The other thing learned was who was the control freak in the group--the one who always fought over being teacher, asking the questions, while knowing the answers!  Future Bitches Of America!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is what playing those games looked like, back in the day!

Ah, for simpler, more pastoral times!

But not so far back, and pastoral, as Abraham and Issac!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
