Last Week's Episode Of "AHS--1984" Should Have Been Called "Fright Fest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
More blood and revelations were spilled during last week's episode in a season that continues to gain interest with each episode. There was a touching scene between Chef Bertie (Tara Karasian) and Mr. Jingles, suggesting he might have been her son, a la Jason and Mrs. Voorhees. But when she does him in, that was that, so Mr. Jingles' history lies somewhere else.
Maybe with Margaret. I knew there was more to her than meets the eye. In a nod to the 1983 classic, "Sleepaway Camp," where Angela (Felissa Rose) was the killer, it is revealed that the famous 1970 camp massacre was done by Margaret herself, then a camper, who was being bullied by the resident Mean Girls, and who got back at them! I had to hand it to Margaret; I know how she felt, and, as I always sympathized with the killer in slasher films, (at least, their motive) this was in keeping with a kind of tradition. I always said the slashers were created by a bunch of folk who, when young, were outsiders, and outcasts themselves, and the genre was their vengeance. Looks like I am not that far off.
The big reveal was what a piece of evil work Montana is, and how good Billie Lourd is at hiding it. While still an L.A. aerobics instructor, she and Ramirez met, and, in a sick way, connected. She has it out for Brooke, but Brooke does not realize it. Meanwhile, Margaret thinks she has killed Mr. Jingles, but this is Slasherland, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding? There is lots more to be heard from our beloved Mr. Jingles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tonight's episode is entitled "Red Dawn." So, what will become apparent at daybreak? What new surprises are in store for the camp, and viewers? And, will the children ever arrive, and what might happen, if they do????????????????????
I can't wait to find out. And I cannot believe, with this premise, it is turning out to be one of the show's better seasons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We'll dish after tomorrow, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Billie Lourd is Carrie Fisher’s daughter!
ReplyDeleteHow could I have not known that!!
ReplyDeleteVictoria,
Oh yes, she is Carrie's daughter.
Keep watching her, and you can see it.
She is enormously talented on AHS!
