Welcome To Another Musical Theater Week, Darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, girls, I am not doing classes, though I could, and should, with what I have seen lately having the temerity to present itself on the Broadway stage.  I mean, "Mrs. Doubtfire?"  Come on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For classes I would need students, a piano, an accompanist, and a space.  Too much in this Covid era.

No, Musical Theater Week, which runs annually from November 13 to 18, the last being the birthday of yours truly, is when we honor the many Legends Of The Musical Stage born this week. Those newer to this blog may be surprised at how many there actually are.

So, how do we kick the week off?  With one of the greatest numbers ever staged.  See below!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THIS is what Musical Theater was, fifty years ago!!!!!!!!  Where did we go wrong????????????????

  3. Well, mother did NOT like the play.
    Or the actors.
    Or the bus ride.
She says she WILL give it another try next month.
She detests being around “all those OLD people” lol
