Girls, Join Us Tomorrow Night, As Svengoolie Presents An Old Favorite, "House Of Wax!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Which, as most readers on here know, is a 1953 remake of the 1933 RKO film, "The Mystery Of The Wax Museum."  Both have their pluses and minuses; 'House' has that lush fifties Technicolor, sets and costumes to match, and, girls, you have to see the scene where Phyllis Kirk as Sue practically prostates herself before a waxed Carolyn Jones as Joan Of Arc, like both were trying to channel Jennifer Jones in "The Song Of Bernadette."  This shot alone is worth the entire evening, but the film is well made, and fun.

And speaking of fun, little Pippin, Baby Gojira's nurse practitioner assistant, is not only looking forward to this film, which he has never seen, but to what "Sventoonie" is going to do; what film he will deconstruct this week.  He is becoming quite popular, and I hope does not vanish from us, like Amy Sedaris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"House Of Wax" commences "Vincent Price Month" on "Svengoolie."  Let's have a look--
Here is the "money shot" I was telling you about.  Let's wax rhapsodic, darlings!!!!!!

  2. Victoria,
That's the one! Though the 1933 "Mystery Of The
    Wax Museum" is even better.
