Girls, Look At What Swann's Is Selling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The first is something most Theater Queens would want hanging in their apartments--an Al Hirschfeld drawing of the original 1973 Broadway cast of "A Little Night Music."  It goes between $20K and $30K, so break out those piggy banks, darlings.  Just looking at it from here, I can see, from left, Victoria Mallory, Mark Lambert, Patricia Elliiott, Len Cariou, Glynis Johns, and Hermione Gingold.  Imagine, staring at this on one's wall, while listening to the Original Broadway Cast Recording--oh, my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now, the second item here is an original--you hear that, darlings?--painting by (genuflect) Cecil Beaton of Katherine Hepburn in her iconic 1969 debut in "CoCo," with costumes by Cecil Beaton, and choreography by a still then up and coming Michael Bennett.

Girls, it is a bargain, going for between $4K and $6K.  Just looking at it, it represents all our wants.  Not necessarily looking like Katheriene Hepburn--unless you are talking about her in 1938, when she wore that outer space-like dress while doing the olive trick in "Bringing Up Baby"--but, first, possessing a Cecil Beaton painting to hang in one's place,  not to mention the background visual details which so many of us, darlings, would want to live among, as well as being costumed by Cecil Beaton, and in a Michael Bennett show.  Oh, loves, I am just tingling all over!

Thursday, December 15 is the date to go and purchase these treasures.  Be there at the stroke of 10am, when Swann's opens.  Located at 104 East 25th Street.

See you all, for these delectable bon bons, dears!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
