Just look at those hair designs! And those floral looking clips! The 1950's were also a time of glamour; it came to an end when the Mod look invaded London and America in the 1960's. Then all glamour went straight to hell.
But that does not mean you can recreate, darlings. Look at this fabulous array of styles and accessories. Pick one as your own or alternate on different days or weeks; it is within your power to do so.
You may not look like Grace Kelly, but you CAN look like Faith Domergue.
Here is Faith, dressed for a night on the town. WE can do it, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Darling, if it were up to high we would take fashion and hairstyles back to the 40s and 50s when people dressed with Panache style and glamor.. or back to the Edwardian times. I have no qualms about dressing like a Dandy!
ReplyDeleteI HAVE some of those floral hair clips, I’m wearing one right now!!
ReplyDeleteI love all the pretty hair accessories available
You don’t have to spend a lot of money either!!
If you cannot have real flowers, a floral barrette will do! Or so I've been told.
ReplyDeleteMistress Maddie,
ReplyDeleteI am with you. I have no qualms, either.
Indeed, the Edwardian period was one of high glamour.
As for today...sigh!!!!!!!!!!
Victoria,
ReplyDeleteHair accessories can enhance a hair style.
Unfortunately, mine is not long enough to wear any!
Bob,
ReplyDeleteFloral barrettes are excellent. And perfectly acceptable.
