Tonight, "Svengoolie" Kicks Off The Year With A Seldom Shown Film--"The Invisible Ray," From 1935!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                          There may be a reason why it is seldom shown, darlings, but since so few people have seen it, including yours truly, we will all just have to watch and find out why.

                                            The plot is simple.  Bela Lugosi plays a scientist who has invented some sort of death ray that makes Boris Karloff a radioactive menace. He brings death to everyone he touches.

                                                Hey, it is an interesting premise.  And Boris and Bela are teamed again.  With Frank Lawton--who knew he made any other films beside "David Copperfield?"--Frances Drake, not the world's greatest actress, but, hey, she worked! --and the great Beaulah Bondi!  What a cast!

                                                   So, join us all at eight, tonight, for this seldom shown film.  Kerwyn is very excited about it!
