Flaco, the owl whom everyone the world over has taken to their hearts, is celebrating a year free from captivity, and he seems to be thriving. He has become New York's most popular socialite next to ANNA. And it would not surprise me if sometime soon, she and Flaco are photographed together.
This owl is wise beyond his species to survive in Manhattan on his own for a year. Hey, humans, take a lesson!!!!!!!!!!!! Flaco has covered Manhattan from all over--Centra Park, the West Side, the Upper East Side, even the East Village. I have a feeling he likes what remains of bohemia down there. Bet he loves the Christodora!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations on your success, Flaco. We love you, have our eyes on you, and if you ever fly to Brooklyn, come visit us in Bay Ridge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Handsome, proud Flaco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is truly loved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Here's to your second year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Birds are so clever and adaptable!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd birds of prey are free rodent-control
Victoria,
ReplyDeleteThanks for that last statement, because I have
worried about Flaco in relation to NYC rats.
