How Fitting The Museum Of Broadway Opens Today--During Musical Theater Week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Girls, I am telling you, someone out there is reading this blog, which is one of many reasons why I keep at it.  How appropriate to have this museum open during Musical Theater Week.

David and I are anxious to see it, even if the tickets are a bit expensive.  But, then, what the hell in NYC isn't?  That is the real horror that "AHS: NYC" should explore, but the writers don't have the sensibility or sensitivity to be bothered.

Getting back to the museum, therre are specific things I expect to see--and if not, they are going to hear about it.

Like Donna McKechnie in "A Chorus Line," Shelley Plimpton in "HAIR," Pamela Myers from "Company," the women of "Follies, Judy Kuhn in "Rags," Trini Alvarado and company in "Runaways."  Get the picture?

Hey, don't forget Neva Small in "Henry, Sweet Henry."

Of course, I expect to see Chita and gang in "West Side Story," John Raitt and Jan Clayton in "Carousel," Barbara Cook and Robert Preston in "The Music Man," Miss Cook again in "She Loves Me," Ethel Merman in "Gypsy," and the human Christmas Tree from that original production.

I could go on--Mary Martin and The Children in "The Sound Of Music," BARBRA in "Funny Girl" (Hey, come on, now!), Angela Lansbury in "Mame," Zero Mostel in "Fiddler On The Roof," Carol Channing in "Hello, Dolly!"

I expect THIS at the minimum.  As for the rest, well it had better measure up.

Expect a report on my visit when I go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                              "All those glittering years," darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
