Is Barbie Bulimic???????????????????

                               Can you believe, darlings, it has been 28 years, since Barbie has been on screen, in Todd Haynes' 1987 film, "Superstar," where Barbie broke through with an Oscar caliber performance as singer Karen Carpenter????????  I am telling you, I still cry over the scene where she collapses on stage, after singing "Rainy Days And Mondays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

                                 Barbie should at least have been Oscar nominated for the film!!!!!!!!!!!

                                 In the intervening years, things have not gone so well for Barbie. She has gone from being an icon, to camp, to a symbol of female subjugation.  So, it does not surprise me that some of the health issues she so brilliantly manifested in the 1987 film classic, have morphed into her real life!!!!!!!!!!  Poor Barbie!!!!!!!!!!!!  She has to eat and barf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
