"Ted!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Teeeeeeeeeeeeeeedddddddddddddddddddddd!"

                              Oh, my God, girls, I am telling you, not since Patty Duke, as Neely O'Hara, screamed out that name in the theater alley, at the climax of "Valley Of The Dolls," has anyone matched that hysterical moment.  Now, along comes Kate Mara (Rooney's sister) in "Chappaquiddick," who just may equal that moment.  I mean, there is no way she could eclipse it.

                              The trailer for the film keeps showing her screaming the name.  It could either be haunting, or campy, but it is the reason I want to see this film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                That Mary Jo Kopechne.  No one knows for sure if she was a tramp, or not, but I am telling you, she should have known the Kennedy boys were big horn dogs.  And Ted, the ugliest of the lot, was desperate for it, because he was so ugly, Kennedy or not, who would go near him?

                                  If this movie is to be taken seriously, I would like to know more about her back story, and how she and Ted crossed paths.  Better she had met Ted Casablanca, rather than Kennedy. She would still be alive.  And in gorgeous designer clothes.

                                    I wonder if the casting people realized what they were doing, in casting Kate Mara, as Mary Jo.  Because this is the second time she has played a character with a Kennedy connection.  Back in 2003--my God, that is fourteen years ago--when CBS unveiled its then new series, "Cold Case," the first episode, entitled "Look Again," was clearly a redo of the 1975 Martha Moxley murder Mara played Jill Shelby, clearly a stand in for Martha. And, so she was "Cold Case's" first ghost.

                                   Whether the casting folk knew this or not, it makes Kate's appearance here more interesting.

                                     Whatever Mary Jo was or not, Ted was worse, leaving her to drown.

                                       He should have hooked up with Susan Smith!  She would have taken care  of him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
