'SVU's' "Can't Be Held Accountable" Offers Up Another Bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                  This unexpected cliff hanger of an episode--to be continued in January, was this show's version of the Jeffrey Epstein.  As soon as I saw Steve Getz kill himself in prison, in the opening scene, I knew, and was delighted.  But will there be a twist?  Is Getz really dead?

                                    Then the show goes back two months, showing what leads up to the opening scene.  Gets is doing a number on Frank Bucci's (Nicholas Turturro, and featured last season, in the episode "Part 33") two daughters, Ivy and Milly.  Ivy seems to buy into it, but when Getz expresses an interest in Milly, only 13, even big sister thinks this is too much.  Frank's ex-wife has abandoned them all for pastoral pleasure in sunny California.

                                      The most interesting thing is she turns out to be the biggest bitch of all.  Because, in the climactic scene, where the cruise boat takes off, she is seen on the ship with her daughters, as they all wave "Bye, Bye!"  So, mother doesn't care if her daughters are sex trafficked, just as long as she, Mom, gets to hob nob with high society.  This bitch is played by Rosie De Sanctis, and she is no Lee Radziwill, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                        Next to Bucci's, ex-wife Donna Jamie Gray Hyder, as Kat, who poses as Ivy's sister to infiltrate the Getz contingent, and goofs along the way, and Zuleikha Robinson as Bureau Chief Vanessa Hadid, come off as lambs.  The big goof is Rollins (the wonderful Kelli Giddish) makes the rather dumb mistake--for a cop; sloppy, or contrived writing, here--leaving her gun in her car's glove department.  Out to get vengeance and save his daughters, as well as get back at their bitch mom, Bucci tails Rollins to her therapist's office, and holds both women at gun point.  Which is where viewers are left hanging till January.

                                           I wish I had a picture of the mother and daughters sailing away on the Getz boat!  A mother who would sell her daughters to a sex trafficker, just for her own social status, is the worst bitch of all, and the worst one on this episode.

                                             That picture would have been a perfect ending to this blog post.

                                              In the previous episode, "We Dream Of Machine Elves" the real bitch was Anais Adler (Eve O'Brien), daughter of Julius Adler (Adam Arkin). What she did to innocent young girls knowingly was worse than her father.

                                               I have to say the show has been amping up the bitch meter, lately!

                                               Maybe the staff recognize an essential component of their audience--who loves seeing an evil bitch being taken down, before their eyes!  I know I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                 I'd like to say the writers are getting wise.

                                                 But there is still Debbie Downer Olivia Benson!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
