Darlings, They Have To Bring Back Those Shop Rite Can-Can Ads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                            Not since the days of Cole Porter and Gwen Verdon has the Can-Can been so much fun.  When younger, I used to do the dance in front of the TV during the commercials.  But at my age now, oh my God, my hips!!!!!!!!!!!!  But both are still mine, unlike Liza!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                             And those lyrics!  "For tasty corn, asparagus!"  I mean, it just makes me want to whip up a batch of both right now and mix them together.

                               Selling vegetables in "can-cans!!!!!!!!!!!!"  A Fifties housewife's dream!  Or working mothers who have no idea about the importance of buying fresh produce.

                                OK, so Shop Rite was middle class.  It still is.  But, hons, we love the logo, the song, and sometimes, in desperation, who has not shopped there??????????????

                                     The logo, to an extent, was symbolic of my childhood!!!!!!!!!!!!
