Something I was watching recently--I cannot recall what--had the camera go deep into a pointillist painting, so it felt as though the viewer were in it. No, it was not the famous Seurat portrait, but the image was powerful.
That got me to thinking about blending this art form with the color pink. As the song in 1957's"Frunny Face" says, "Think Pink." And I do, darlings!!!!!!!!!!! As much as possible. For me, it is an emotionally cheering color.
The above portrait exemplifies what I am getting at, but I would like to dive even deeper. Imagine a canvass made up entirely of pink points? Granted, the artist doing this would have to have patience, but the end result could be so lovely, and hang in one's living room as a conversation piece.
Why are Valentine's Day and Easter the only time pink is remembered? I think it should be a color for all year round!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Remember Polly Pinks in "Miss Sniff?" I so relate to her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
