Farewell To May!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

                              Girls, can you believe five months of the year have gone by already?  And next month we will be halfway through.  As Judy Collins sings "Who knows where the times goes?"

                                 Memorial Day weekend was a washout, and I struggled with some minor health issues, but May was filled with shows and movies.  We saw what I consider the season's best show, "Schmigadoon."  It had damn well better win the TONY Award for Best Musical, although I am sadly afraid it is going to go to "The Lost Boys."   Which is just another "Outsiders" with vampires!  La dee dah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We also saw "Jerome" (better to forget it) and "Titanique" which I can you is even bigger and better in its Broadway  move.

                                   And who cold forget the beauty and heartbreak of "Fried Green Tomatoes??????"  To think, thirty- five years have passed.  The two Marys looked so young.  And so did I thirty five years ago.  I still want to look like Jnnifeer Jones in "The Song Of Bernadette," but I never will. I will always be Pearl Chavez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                       I hope your May was as fun and exciting as ours.  Now, if the weather would only improve.

                                       June, of course, is PRIDE month, so a happy one to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
