This Bitch Will Either Revolutionize, Or Destroy, Nursing Home Care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What is wrong with this bitch, girls??????????  Let's start with the fact she looks exactly like Gwyneth Paltrow, after a bender!  Her name is Brittany Fultz.  She is twenty-six years old, and a health care worker at The Commons In Providence, in the Erie County of Ohio.  She is also this week's winner of The Raving Queen Bitch Of The Week Award.

Why???????????  Well, how about this, dears, she sexually harassed a 100-year-old man.

That's right!  The man was suffering from dementia, and, on video, which someone had either the stupidity or good fortune to film--at least it nailed Fultz--she is seen on it touching his thigh, straddling him like a lap dancer, and saying "I can show you new things.   You gonna buy me some."

I mean, what kind of bitch sickness is this?  Getting her jollies by abusing the elderly and helpless.  Or, hey, Brittany, is this the best you can do, regarding getting some man action???????  You pathetic slut!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know there are more than cracks in our health care system, but Brittany raises the bar that much higher.  My father, who will 102, on April 30, is in Villa St. Martha, in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, an ostensibly Catholic-centric facility, and I do not want him being serviced and manhandled by tramps who would have done better not to have crawled out of whatever version of Goat Alley they came from!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brittany sets a new low, even for this column!  But I have a worst fear.

Gwyneth Paltrow is pretty much washed up.  What if this is really her?????????????

Finally, A New York Eatery That Gives Many Gay Men What They Have Always Wanted--A Chance To Feel Like Rue McClanahan!!!!!!!!!!!

Girls, let me tell you, since I have retired, and am now on the traditional fixed income, those evenings at Cipriani's have had to be curtailed.

However, there is a new eatery, way uptown.  It is called "Rue La Rue," and is devoted to the memory of actress, and former "Golden Girl," Rue McClanahan.  It is co-owned by her son, and the estate's handler, Michael LaRue, and darlings, I cannot wait to go.  Rue has always been one of my models; I mean, Blanche was the only one who knew how to dress!

I could see them having a Special Night, where patrons come dressed as their favorite characters.  I wonder how many butch things will show up, as Bea Arthur?????????????

Located at 4394 Broadway, in the Washington Heights section of Manhattan, this is destination must for all my girls!!!!!!!!!!!  You can bet I will be seen there--holding card, just as Rue would have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Be there, or be square.  With a card attached, saying "Thank you, Rue!!!!!!!!!!!"

Two Film Costumes I Have Always Wanted To Wear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Darlings, you know how much I love "Mildred Pierce.  I relate to Veda, who was just a poor, misunderstood girl, with goals.  The goal oriented are never understood. Believe me, I know.

There is so much to notice in this film, visually, that the costumes are overlooked.  Since this was filmed at Warner Bros., I thought the costume designer was Orry-Kelly.  It turns out to be someone I never heard of--Milo Anderson.

Even Veda's knockoff dress--the one that she says is "awfully cheap material; I can tell by the smell"--is a work of art.  But the two outfits I want to wear, are Ida's party dress, seen above; I just love those black stripes contrasting with the shimmering fabric.  And, of course, Veda's party dress, with its combined shimmer and tulle look.  Not to mention the huge flower in her hair.  This is the dress she murders Monty in, and the moral here, girls, is if you are hell bent on murdering someone, you have absolutely got to look your best.

Of course, Veda's mistake was not thinking far ahead.  You can't wear such outfits in prison. As for Mildred, I love when she walks past the washer women on the steps in her furs, and does not even notice them.  The rise of American social class in all its glory.

But these two creations are Milo's masterworks.  I have got to have them made.

Don't worry, dears, I have no plans to murder anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Some Love Van Cliburn! But, My Sweet Henry, I Yearn, Just To Hear Your Golden Melody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

And hear it we will, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!  Remember, you heard it first, here!

Several years ago, back in the Spring of 2013, I think, when I saw and wrote about the Beautiful Soup Theatre Company's production of one of my favorite musicals, "RAGS," I had established a bit of contact with its Artistic Director, Steven McCasland, who informed me he had been wanting to  do "Henry, Sweet Henry," but was having trouble getting the rights.  I told him if he was successful to let me know, because I would certainly come and see it.  Hell, I would perform it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                          Alas, I never heard.

Prior to this, even before 2010. the year I met my husband (yes, darlings, my beloved has become my husband!!!!!!!!!!!!) I saw a scaled down version of the show at Musicals In Mufti.  It demonstrated just how great the Bob Merrill score was, and the actors (especially those playing the girls) were superb!

Alice Playten was still alive at the time.  Now, back in 2004, I had seen her do her signature song from this show, "Nobody Steps On Kafritz," and let me tell you, darlings, time stood still!  Alice's still clarion voice stopped the show, and I felt proud to have witnessed it.

Because I had wanted to see "Henry, Sweet Henry" on Broadway. Back in 1967, when it played the Palace, my then Sixth Grade teacher saw it, and told my parents it would be perfect for me.  My parents promised to take me, after the Holidays.  Unfortunately, the show closed on December 31, 1967.  The cast album keeps it alive for all us 'Henry' fans!

At the Mufti performance, I wondered if Alice Playten, or Neva Small, (the original Marian Gilbert, whose rendering of "I Wonder How It Is," made her a Legend Of The Musical Stage) would be there.  I heard, through the grapevine, they were at one of the weekend performances, and that Alice wanted to go on, as Kafritz!  Oh, my God, wouldn't that have been fabulous???????????

Well, that was Then, this is NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sweeties, I have just heard, that on June 14--Flag Day, no less, and my friend, Mary Ann's birthday--Feinstein's 54 Below is going to host a "Henry, Sweet Henry" Evening, hosted by cast member Neva Small.  Age appropriate actors will perform the score, Neva will interject, I am sure, and it will be an evening for all us 'Henry' groupies to revel in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have already gotten my tickets!  It starts at 7PM, so be there, or be square!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If only Alice were still with us!  I know she would have been there!!!!!!!!!  But I wonder if "Chorus Liners" Baayork Lee and Priscilla Lopez will be, because they were in the Original Cast.  As were Pia Zadora, and Robin Wilson!!!!!!!!!!  Will Robin, if still alive, fly in from Hawaii, just for this?  My God, this year, the show turns 50!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is going to be the theatrical event of the Season, darlings, so get set, now!  The girl playing Neva's role has a tough job; no one I have heard do "I Wonder Like It Is"--including yours truly--has ever reached the emotionally plaintive level of Neva, when she gets to "Sometimes, I just visualize..." Oh, my God!  It makes me tremble just to think of it!

Forget a time machine!  Forget "The Twilight Zone!" This will be better than both!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                              I love you, Neva!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Must Be The Queen Of Black History Month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                        Really!  Who would have thought?

Over the past month, through chance circumstance, I have read three books on aspects of this topic.  Two I have posted about on here--"Thomas Jefferson Dreams Of Sally Hemmings," by Stephen O'Connor, and "The Underground Railroad," by Colson Whitehead, which, surprisingly to me, lived up to all the hype generated.  Though my favorite was the O'Connor book.

And now I have read "Lazaretto," by a writer I never heard of, Diane McKinney-Whetstone, who lives in Philadelphia, where her novel is set, just at the point of Lincoln's assassination.  What follows is a twisted generation saga of secrets and betrayal, that culminates in the titled place, an island off the coast, where the quarantined ill are cared for.

Miss McKinney-Whetstone is no Toni Morrison in the literary department, but her sense of narrative  is breathtaking, and the story sweeps along at a hare's pace.  But no doubt this woman did her homework--a grisly sequence, involving an amputation of a leg, is so meticulously detailed, she had to have researched the procedure to describe it as accurately as she does--and for the period.  I must confess I found this part hard to take, and had to put the book down.  But not to the point where I could not finish it.  Her characters and their entwining  fates are so interesting I was compelled to go on.

I have to thank my friend, Judy, for recommending this to me.  I want to explore her other writings.

Best read while eatin' dat corn bread, chillun'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An 'SVU' Episode Hardly Upsets Me Any More! But This One Did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not since the classic 2005 "Cold Case" episode, "A Perfect Day," where Michael Rodrick played scumbag abuser Roger Mulvaney, have I seen as harrowing a depiction of family abuse as this past Wednesday's episode, "Great Expectations."  The title's use however, is as far from Dickens and Miss Havisham as one could get.  Unless  you want to think the father was grooming his sons, like Miss Havisham groomed Estella.  I would have stayed with Miss Havisham, darlings.

So much bothered me about this episode, whose story was predictable.  Nevertheless, it was a series of superb performances by Brent Sexton and Amy Spanger as parents Jim and Helen Turner, plus Lincoln Melcher as Kyle Turner, Ben Cook as eldest son, Adam, and Maxwell Kenneth Owens, as baby brother Mark, which made things work.  They are the family under siege.  Their counterparts, the Wilsons, were played by Brian Hutchison and Erika Rolfsrud as parents Frank and Linda, and Christopher Paul Richards, as their son, and victim, Jack Wilson.

Before getting into things that bothered me, here is a summary of what went down.

Jack Wilson and Kyle Turner, both 13-years old, play for the Whitecaps, a New York state youth hockey team.  At a recent game, Jack misses a goal that cost them the win, and his father, Jim Turner, plus his teammates, are less than thrilled.  In the locker room, the boys verbally harass Jack, but Kyle, supposedly Jack's best friend, sticks up for him.  Later, Jack is seen leaving the playing space with his mother, Linda.  He is having difficulty walking to the car, in the parking lot, and, when he collapses, Linda discovers he is bleeding through the rectum!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enter dour Olivia and crew at the hospital, where she immediately cries "Sexual assault!"  She is right, of course, but much more turns out to be going on here.  Kyle and his father Jim, out of concern for Jack, come to the hospital.  The Wilsons seem less than thrilled, especially to see Jim.  Eventually, Jack tells the truth--two boys held him down, while Kyle Turner, his best friend, inserted a hockey stick into his rectum.

As soon as Jim Turner described his parenting as "old school," I knew what was going on.  Things get worse, but Jack takes a turn for the worst, and dies.  Now, Kyle, who had been facing assault charges as an adult, is now going to be charged with homicide--and Daddy Jim seems all too willing to throw his son under the bus.  Why?

During the indictment scene, the answer is uncovered.  Eldest brother Adam storms out of the courtroom, telling Kyle his father does not deserve to be protected anymore.  Turns out the father has enslaved his family to the notion of making his sons into a hockey dynasty, because he lost out on going pro.  Uh huh.  This is sandlot fatherhood taken to the extreme.

Helen Turner is the abused wife in denial, who knows what's going on, knows she should take the boys, but is so horribly paralyzed, psychologically.  If the boys weren't in such danger, I might have felt sorry for her, but after allowing her husband to beat the hell out of Adam (recorded in a shocking video) this woman lost my sympathy, and I felt she should have been charged too.

Kyle agrees to set up his father for arrest, even though he still vows he loves him. When the cops come for Jim Turner at last--he lunges at Kyle, saying he set him up, asking if he is wearing a wire.  His last words amount to "look what I did for you!"  Yeah right.  Kyle's words are truly sad.  Even at this juncture, his last words are "I'm sorry I let you down, Dad."

Brent Sexton's performance as loser Jim Turner made me hate him so much I wanted to strangle him through the TV screen.  As Helen Turner, Amy Spanger's denial  in the face of reality caused me to hate her.  Speaking of Jim, it is never discovered how he supports his family.  We know he lost out on the chance to go pro, but what did he do instead?  I got the impression Helen is not allowed to work, and, of course, when three boys were born to them, he was going to make them over.  During the episode, concern kept being directed at youngest brother Mark.  What would happen to him, once he got older?  Well, of course, Jim would have started on him, too, but let me tell you, it is already happening to Mark, who has already seen and heard far too much of what a child should not see.  Didn't anyone stop to consider this?

Adam was right, when he called his father a loser. Most abusers are, to an extent.  And the abuse of the Turners was trickling down to even Jack Wilson, who keeps on calling Kyle his best friend, and when Benson and Company go to speak to him, Jack says, "Tell Kyle I know he didn't mean it."  So Jack is in thrall to Kyle's abuse, too.  And Father Frank Wilson demonstrated he knew what was going on, when he called Jim Turner a "son of a bitch."

This is what bothered me, yet maybe this was the point.  Everyone seemed to know what was going on around them, yet it took a tragic assault, and then irrevocable death, to get anyone to act.

As I said, the story was predictable, but the performances are superb.  One thing I wanted to know was what would happen to Helen and the boys.  She has no job skills.  It was mentioned, at the height of things, that Mark was sent to her mother's. Bet Granny knew what was going on.  Bet they try and start their lives over with her.

I would also like to have known Jim's story.  Who abused him, because an abuser is often one who has been abused.  And he couldn't handle not going pro?  Get over it!  I never made it to Broadway, but you don't see me going psycho about it.

One thing for sure.  Jim will get plenty of attention in prison.  When the inmates hear his story, more than hockey sticks will be plunged into him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Whiteheads Are NOT The Bobbsey Twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jasmiyah and Tasimyah Whitehead are even more despicable than the more well known Pauline Parker and Juliet Hulme.   On the morning of January 13, 2010, the girls, then 16, got into an argument with their mother, Jarmecca, 34, over teen nonsense which escalated into murder--strangulation and stabbing.  They then dragged her bloody body into the bathtub, where the woman, still alive spewed out her last words to her monster daughters--"You will go to jail for this.  I hate you!"

Good for you, Jarmecca!  No wonder these girls are so perfect as joint winners of this week's Raving Queen Bitch Of The Week Award.

Murder over teen-age stuff.  This mother gave them everything she could, but I guess these slattern Misses thought they were entitled to be Diana Ross!!!!!!!!!!  Sweeties, I have news for you--even Diana worked to get where she was!!!!!!!!!!!!

The crime took place in Conyers, Georgia.  The girls were convicted, and sentenced to 30 years in prison.  They should have gotten Life, and when parole comes up, I  hope it is denied.  You do not want this duo out on the streets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Filthy bitches!  They ain't no "Love Children!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
