Guess What Film We Watch Today, Darlings!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, girls, since it is Friday the 13th, there can be only one choice, and that is the 1980 original, featuring the wonderful Betsy Palmer as that Mother of Mothers, Mrs. Voorhees.

Looking as though she were auditioning for a Fisherman's Friend cough drop commercial in that white knit sweater, Betsy traded on a career of wholesomeness to turn in a portrait she expected no one would ever see, but by now is what she will be remembered for!!!!!

Her psychotic break is brilliant--"Kill her, Mommy, kill her!" There was nothing like it before, and nothing since. Which is why I only watch the original, none of the sequels.

And Blairstown, lambs, where it was filmed, looks exactly the same. I have done Annie's Walk, and I can testify!!!!!

It would not be Friday the 13th, without this film, and Mrs. Voorhees. So curl up with a drink, and watch the body count rise with the water level!!!!!!
