March Comes In Like A Lion, Darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, girls, it is the first day of March, so breathe a little easier, for this is the month where Prosperina gets to come back from Hell (on the 21st, which commences Spring) and the earth and air become green and verdant, with longer days, and more time to spend outdoors, reading, meditating, or whatever it is you do!!!!!

March also used to mean the Oscars, but, now they are in February, so that is done. And it used to mean the annual showing of "The Wizard Of Oz," but, thanks to Ted Turner and TCM, that has been taken from us. But, darlings, thanks to the wonders of technology, with a DVD player (Blu-ray, or not) you can have your annual screening ANY time, and not just annually; as many times as you want!!!! A childhood fantasy come true!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, this month has lots of associations, the most important being it marks the end of the long Winter season. Even if it seems we have had the mildest on record, (or the mildest, as far as I can recall), it always seems as if Winter is the most drawn out of all. Maybe because it housebounds so many, giving them cabin fever. Instead of Saturday Night Fever, which is better!!!!

Turn your thoughts toward flowers and Spring, dolls!!!! March is here, and the Winter of 2012 is slowly dissolving into History. And by the 21st, it will be!!!!

Say what you want to, but March is here to stay! He's a mean old lion!!!!
