Happy Birthday, Auntie Alvin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                    Today is the birthday of Alvin, friend of Monsieur and myself, and affectionately known by all for his well intentioned generosity as Auntie Alvin.  I believe he is 72 years young, and still
tending to his birds and other household needs. But, I am telling you, girls, when he gets on the road, and
burns that tire rubber, he is a Wild One!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                       We took Alvin out for his birthday on Sunday at the Middle Eastern restaurant, Tanoreen, in Bay Ridge, on 75th Street, not far from our apartment..  We had a delicious assortment of appetizers, some spicy crunchy bread, and a Mixed Grill, which was supposed to be for 2, but easily satisfied the three of us.  It was elegant, and different, and a good time was had by all. And I would certainly go back to this place a second time, darlings; there is hardly a place we have eaten in so far in Bay Ridge where that does not apply. 

                                         Auntie Alvin certainly enjoyed himself, which is what counted.  So I want to wish him well on this, his true natal day, and may he celebrate this entire weekend.  Rock it away, Alvin, darling!!!!!!!
