Poor Cucumbo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                     You gotta feel sorry for Cucumbo, girls!!!!!!!!!!!  He is so cute, and so unloved!  He will only be at the Film Forum, for one day, on Wednesday, August 21st, with screenings at 2:50 and 6:00 PM.  He deserves more notice than that.  And he is not even on DVD, darlings, which I cannot understand, because even "Blood Of Dracula," where Sandra Harrison looks more glamorous in her monster make-up than as herself, is available.  I have seen it on DVD, and I owned it once.  I think it got lost in the move.

                                      But poor Cucumbo!!!!!!  Did you know, girls, that, when "It Conquered The World" was in production, and  leading lady Beverly Garland was first introduced to him, she said to Roger Corman, "THAT conquered the world????", and then kicked Cucumbo over!!!!!!!!!  Awwwwwwwwwww!
He gets no respect!  I sometimes know how he feels, dolls!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                       Which is why he has always been my favorite, and, if programmer Bruce Goldstein has any sense, he will make sure Cucumbo is in the lobby during the screening of his film to greet his fans!!!!!!!!!!!

                                          It is time this neglected screen star got his due!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
