Girls, I could care less about the episode, "Downloaded Child," it was such a disappointment. I was expecting to see Pablo Schreiber turn up, as Lewis, and menace Olivia, who needs to be menaced and bitch slapped to have that rotten attitude of hers smacked out of her.
Alas, it was not to be. I think they are saving that for next week, which will probably be the Season 15 Finale! Will there be a Season 16? The way this one has played out, I have my doubts.
What kept me glued to this story was the performance of Meghann Fahy, as Jenny Aschler, the actual "Downloaded Child" of the title. Hers was the most electrifying performance on this show from a young actress I have seen since Agatha Nowicki portrayed Katie, the abusive and abused middle sister, in "Totem," a few years back.
As I said then, I hoped they could find a way to bring her back. I say the same thing with Meghann Fahy's Jenny. However, as has been too often the case, whenever it gets something good, the 'SVU' staff just lets it go. Which is why the seasons are tanking, year by year.
Thank God for Kelli Giddish, as Amanda Rollins. And Penny Balfour, as Tammy Dobbs, Jenny's no good, White Trash mother. I wish she had been arrested.
Unfortunately, Danny Pino is still strutting his chest, and sticking out his ass, like he is cock of the walk, when everyone knows he is a loser on this show. When are they going to get smart, and get rid of him???????????????
As for Raul Esparza as Barba, he will never be Stephanie March. He can't even match Diane Neal. He is just some queen prancing around as an attorney, except the show won't let him be a queen. Give him some lines, let him mention Sondheim, anything to show that he is a New York City gay. Some of the best attorneys in town are gay, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But I want to know more about Meghann; who she is, what she has done, and whether we will see more of her!
Because, damn, she is good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
