Happy Birthday, Seamus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                     I know it is not Saint Patrick's Day. It is the Ides of March, which is usually a bad day, but, on this very day, sixty years ago, at the Mark Hellinger, a musical called "My Fair Lady," featuring Rex Harrison and Julie Andrews, opened on Broadway, and what could be bad about that?

                                        While doing our Sunday neighborhood walk, we passed Paws Truly, home of store mascot, Seamus.  He was not there, then, but there was a sign wishing him a Happy Birthday!!!!!!!!   Today is Seamus' actual birthday.  I do not know how old he is, but he is the sweetest, most lovable dog, and he is going to be at the store today to meet and greet his fans. So, if you are along the Avenue (Third) in Bay Ridge, be sure to stop, and give Seamus a hug!

                                            Myself, I will so do, via this blog!  Happy Birthday, Seamus!  We love you, too; you are one of our favorite dogs in Bay Ridge!
