Time For A History Lesson, Girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                              This painting is a classic.  And Washington crossed the Delaware  late in the year; in fact, it was December 25, 1776--Christmas Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Merry Christmas, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                But there has always been controversy surrounding what he actually said, while standing up, as seen in the painting.  I have argued this point with people, and they don't believe me!!!!!!!!!!!

                                 Well, you historians better get with the program, because it is beyond doubt that his is what Washington said at this momentous event--

                                   He did hula gestures with his arms and hands, saying,
                   
                                    "Boop boop e doop!  Boop boop e doop!"
