Girls, I Am Telling You, We Cannot Wait To See Cybill Shepherd Play Paula Deen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Make sure you are home by nine, darlings, and in front of your set, because tonight's episode of "Law And Order SVU," entitled "American Tragedy," promises to be a hoot! As a matter of fact, it is melding not one but two stories together.
The first is Deen, and her alleged racism, and you just know Cybill is going to have a fine old time, playing this. She has gotten heavy, darlings, so she is a long way from the days when she could get on that diving board, as Jacy, in "The Last Picture Show," but she still has that Cover Girl hair and skin, which is more than some of us girls got. Especially those who don't moisturize!!!!!!!!!!! And I don't want to hear any of you out there, being one of those!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, Cybill plays a celebrity chef who lives on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Perfect. But, then she goes a little George Zimmerman, when, feeling followed by a Black kid in a hoodie, and, thinking he is out to rape her, she pulls out a gun and shoots him! Perhaps Cybill should think about doing a revival of "Annie Get Your Gun," if this chef can go so seamlessly from the kitchen to the rifle range!!!!!!
That is as much as I know right now, girls, but I am telling you, this ought to have been the Season Opener. That thing aired last week was like a bad antipasto, and it does not deserve to get a rerun, nor does Mariska deserve an Emmy.
But Cybill does though, darlings! I love that line shown, where she says "If I'd a'done this down home, I would have gotten a metal!"
Watch it, noshing on some Southern cuisine! We'll dish about it, tomorrow, dolls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
