He's Baaaaaaaaaaaaack, Girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                          Today, as everyone on here knows, is Gojira Day!  Our big, lovable lizard friend returns to the screen in more than 15 years, and the word on the street is that it is good to have him back.

                           One critic even had some compassion for Gojira, who has been a star for nigh unto 60 years.  He was born when I was, in 1954, so I have always had a kind of special relationship with him, but, due to synchronicity, it would be fair enough, I think, to say that he is the Official Monster Of The Baby Boomer Generation.

                             And, like that generation, Gojira is feeling a bit of his age.  He  looks great, and  is cute and cuddly as ever--look how the standees near him in the photo seem to be greeting him!!!!!!!!!!!

                              But there is a moment--I have not seen it yet, so I cannot confirm--in the film, where Gojira is in San Francisco,  tearing up a building, where he pauses to take a breath, as if to say, "I need a minute, here!"   We don't want to tire Gojira out, and I hope the filmmakers did not over work him; he just wants to please his fans.  But, he has feelings, too!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                Feelings of excitement were high at last night's star studded premiere in New York.  Gojira looked stunning in a gold lame sports jacket, escorting, on his arm, Sister Camille D'Arienzo of the Sisters Of Mercy, who looked pretty elegant, herself, especially in those diamond encrusted earrings purchased for her by Gojira, from Van Cleef And Arpels!!!!!!!!!!!

                                Joining this elegant couple were our neighborhood friends--Cujo, looking especially dashing in a black cumber bun, Pete, The Pigeon, in a festive  black top hat, and those two lovable Pekingese from 77th Street--Victoria, sporting a diamond encrusted tiara, and Stinky, with the same type of collar.  All were on hand to cheer their friend and compatriot, Gojira!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                  As for me, girls, I will not be going till Sunday!  So, stay tuned, for a full action report!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                   You can't keep a good lizard down!  I hear negotiations are underway for Gojira and MERYL to do a revival of "The Night Of The Iguana.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
