Girls, What A Glorious Birthday Gala!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, darlings, last night was our (Monsieur Davide and moi) first Social Engagement of 2011--the annual birthday gala of my movie maven friend, Harvey, held, appropriately enough, at the world famous Malibu Diner, off 23rd Street and Seventh Avenue, where the Elite meet to eat!!!!!!! What a bevy of beauties was there. Whom, beside us, loves? Well, there was that gentleman and scholar, Peter, our beloved Little Jason, the multi talented Steve Collins, Bob, and a host of others!!!!!
Harvey received a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and from us a nice free pass to some movies at the Chelsea Clearview Cinema.

Honey, let me tell you, Harvey has his travails and his struggles, but he is truly an inspiration to us all, because, in spite of everything, he goes on!!!! He has survived things few of us could hardly imagine living through, and during it all he was, is, and remains always, a STEEL MAGNOLIA!!!!!!!!

He looks great at 62, tbe same age, by the way, that Patti and MERYL will reach this year!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course the superb Malibu staff was accommodating, the food was luscious, the atmosphere.....SO Malibu! And most important, a good time was had by all!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the Winter Social Season kicks off with a whirl, hoping that things bode well for 2011!!!!! Happy Birthday to you, Harvey, and Many More!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
