How Do You Like The New Bitch Of The Week Logo, Girls????????????????????????????
Just like a bargain sale at Lord And Taylor's, or at Three Lives tomorrow, when I walk in to buy the new Jane Smiley, I saw this, and just could not resist.
This week's winner seems to come out of nowhere. The winner of this week's Raving Queen Bitch Of The Week Award is actor Stephen Collins. The word actor I use loosely!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stephen Collins made several mistakes in his life. One, was to be an actor, but with his then young patrician looks, he could easily do TV and B work, though he was hardly a world beater of an actor. The highlight of his career came when he appeared opposite Blythe Danner, in a short lived NBC series called "Tattinger's," a series all the way back from 1988, dealing with running a high end New York restaurant. You watched it for Blythe, darlings, because if anything was New York and High End, it is she!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
His big mistake, and the one that tanked his career, was taking on the role of Ashley Wilkes (!!!!!!!!!) in the 1994 mini-series, "Scarlett," based on the abomination by Alexandra Ripley, that purported to be a sequel to "Gone With The Wind." Anyone who took on this assignment was sure to have their career cooked, and that has proved true, twenty years later. Imagine, Stephen Collins playing a role originated by the great Leslie Howard. He should be ashamed.
Now, Stephen has gone that one better. In an acrimonious divorce from his wife, actress Faye Grant, comes the revelation that Stephen has predilections for little girls, I mean prepubescents, and has acted upon them time and again, going so far as to fondle them and expose his penis to some. Good thing it wasn't Sanford Rubenstein, who, according to the NY POST, is hung like a cashew! I guess Stephen fares a little better, but no one is talking.
What gets me is that not that Collins is a pedophile and sex addict, but that he is so matter of fact about it, like it is nothing. "Oh, yeah, I did that!" seems to be his attitude, as if saying such is good enough; never mind an absence of remorse or feeling.
Hey, Stephen, guess what? You did not have much of a career up to now; now you will go to having NO career! Not only are you Bitch Of The Week, once they throw you into the slammer, you are going to be Somebody's Bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then maybe you will show some compassion and remorse for your female victims, and their families!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
