October Is Officially Sister Camille D'Arienzo Month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                       That is because, being a follower of Sister Camille on 1010 WINS on Sunday, and in her column online, I know that her birthday falls sometime this month.  I wish I knew the exact date, darlings, so we could all send birthday wishes, but, instead, let's send Special Birthday Month Wishes for Sister Camille, who, sometime this month, will turn 77!!!!!!!!!!!!  We should all look so good!!!!!!!!!

                        My wish for Sister on that day is she kicks off her heels, relaxes with some tea, and, together with the Sisters, watch Jessica Lange as Sister Jude in "Asylum," on "American Horror Story."  It will keep them all amused, especially as they ( as any nun would) will be delighted to see something portraying them other as overly cheery musical types!!!!!!!!!!!  That must get a little stale after awhile, and is hard for some to live up to.

                          Though don't forget that, like Deborah Kerr in "Black Narcissus," Sister Jude had a past. Which included being a promiscuous nightclub singer!!!!!!!!!!!  Is there any other kind???????
Of course the nun whose past I always wondered about is also from Black Narcissus--Sister Ruth, as portrayed brilliantly by Kathleen Byron!!!!!!!!!  There must be quite a story there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                            Meanwhile, here is to Sister Camille.  Thank you for keeping my girls and I on the right path, and may you continue to spread inspiration and joy, during your 77th year!
