Christmas albums are classic this time of year, and I would not be a self-respecting queen if I did not start out with one of BARBRA's best--her Christmas album.
The definitive piece on her is her classic rendering of "Jingle Bells." However, some songs I would characterize on here as "Religious BARBRA!" Oh, girls, I am telling you, when she gets going on the religious carols, it's like she is trying to channel Jenniefer Jones in "The Song Of Bernadette," which is just impossible. It gets on my Catholic nerves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nevertheless, a gay man's Christmas starts with BARBRA. So, here is one of her classics to start us off!

She also did at that time a funny
version of "Who's Afraid Of The Big
Bad Wolf?" She had a great sense of
humor, then. I regret she did not do
more songs like these. Then, when she
morphed into BARBRA, she began taking
herself too seriously. Gifted, yes, but
take it down a notch BABS!!!!!!!!!!
