Girls, Blake Lively Is Going To Get Me Through "The Procedure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

                                              Blake is also one of those, of whom I ask, "Who does her hair?," as I would love to have hair as fabulous as that.

                                                Nevertheless, with now seventeen days till "the procedure," I have been inspired by Blake, and I  hope it works.

                                                 Here is how it will go down, plain and simple.

                                                 On  the day of, I am simply going to pretend I am Blake Lively, and that I am doing a fashion shoot!

                                                   That's right,  girls!  Because that is the only way this thing will work.  So, still keep those fingers crossed.  You, too, Blake!

Happy Fourth Of July!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Joey Chestnut!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                I  have decided to break a bit with tradition, girls.  I ushered in the month  with "1776," but for this special day--which evokes sadness  and nostalgia for me because of my childhood past, and my parents' friends we would always visit on this day, but who are now all gone--I chose another tradition, one more bound to those in the tri-state area, and that is Nathan's Annual Hot Dog Eating Contest, At Coney Island.  Last year, things were virtual; this year, they are not; alas, though not coming from Nathan's, but Maimonides Park.

                                 Nevertheless, current champ Joey Chestnut will be on hand, to try for his fourteenth win.  I have no reason to doubt he will achieve it, but let  me tell you something, darlings,  I would not have his gastrointestinal tract for the world.  And while he is only 37, this will catch up to him,  in old age.

                                      But, it  is a day of celebration, so, Joey aside,  have yourselves a fabulous Fourth, while staying safe, and remember sun screen, and to wear your best summer outfit!

                                     Eighteen days remain till my colonoscopy, so it  is time once again for my Nancy Kelly hysterical scene of the  week!  Look at this picture!  This  expresses fully how  I feel.

                                       I bet all  of you out there will be glad when this is all over.  None more so than I!!!!!!!!!  But, I will do all a  small favor.  Henceforth, the event will be  referred  to as "the procedure."  Besides, I am  tired  of  typing the word "colonoscopy!"

                                        So,  take  a  look at  how I feel, and remember  when  your time  comes!

Hey, Meghan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop Going After ANNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                    Darlings,  can  you believe that bigoted cow,  Meghan McCain, is  going after ANNA???????????  If you have been on here for any length of time,  you  don't need  to ask  who  ANNA  is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                      Not to bitch on Meghan--oh, come, darlings,  did you expect me  to stop here?--but, despite her full figure size, she dresses well, and  who knows maybe ANNA would have put her on a cover, or,  at least, in  a feature, in "VOGUE."  No chance of that, now!  And she was never  a hottie,  like her Daddy was during the war!  Hubba,  Hubba!

                                       Meghan, ANNA has done more for diversity at "VOGUE" than you could ever comprehend,  in your small-minded,  "Little Foxes-" centric, familial universe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                        And for all of  you ANNA fans out there, with all this talk  of  "The Devil Wears Prada,"  on its fifteenth anniversary, let me  alert you that the  REAL movie to see  is  the  2009 documentary,  "The September Issue," which is REAL,  and  where one  can  ANNA  at  her best--being  ANNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, ANNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why Not Put Gojira On The Cover Of New York's "VOGUE?????????????????"

                                              While "VOGUE" may be published, in some form, all over the world--this issue looks to be from Poland--anyone knows the only REAL one that counts is issued from New York  City, and helmed by ANNA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                   Now,  ANNA, I know you love fresh, new ideas.  You have had all kinds of  celebrities grace the cover of  your magazine, so how about giving Gojira a chance?  He may not be right for the September issue, but maybe, a later, Fall month?????????????????????????????

                                                       So many of  us out here love our big, affectionate, humanitarian  reptile friend, and  think his time  has  come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                        Think about it,  ANNA!  We can talk, in your office, at a meeting,  with Baby Gojira, whom I will bring along!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All Of Us Here Cannot WAIT To Have You Join Us This Saturday Night, For "She-Wolf Of London!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

                                               You have to give credit to Universal for marketing the werewolf.  They tried, in 1935, with "Werewolf Of London," which may have been too intense for some audiences.  The ad campaign dared audiences to watch it at  midnight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                                   Then, in 1941, along came Lon Chaney, Jr, in "The Wolf Man!"  It certified his career, and did wonders for Universal.

                                                     Around  1946, Universal decided it wanted to try something new with the werewolf idea.  "She-Wolf Of London" is not one of  their best gems,  but it is actually quite delightful.

                                                       However,  I have to warn some of you, as I am the only one in this house, having seen this film.

                                                        For those aficionados, who may have already seen Edgar G. Ulmer's underrated 1957 film, "Daughter Of Dr. Jekyll," be forewarned.

                                                         "She-Wolf Of London" is the same plot.

                                                           Even more, both plots are lifted from a Forties Oscar winner, which I will not reveal, as it would give things away.  And, NO, it is NOT "The Song Of Bernadette!"

                                                              So, join David and  I,  along with Baby Gojira, and our friend, Kerwyn, as Svengoolie presents "She-Wolf  Of  London!"

                                     Yes, it is the first of July, girls, and there is no question that this is the show of the month.  What else could one play on  July 4th?  Maybe "George M!?"

                                        July is often a fun month for me, but with the colonoscopy countdown having now begun, look for a shot--if I  can find one--of Nancy Kelly, head on table, banging her hand hysterically in "The Bad Seed."  I know just how she feels!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                        But there are fun happenings in July, and I look forward to  the start of  the second  half of  the year.  May this heat wave cool down, somewhat.

                                          And  we have a whole month of films, with "Svengoolie" and  Kerwyn, to watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                            Not to mention  Little Edie's sparkler dance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
