Happy Birthday, Jules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there any reader on here needing this image to be identified?   Of course, that is Dame Julie. Andrews during one of her many signature moments in her 1965 signature film, "The Sound Of Music."  Today, Dame Jules turns 87, and we salute her.  In fact....

The other night, David and I were watching "American Song Book," on Channel 13.  Jessie Mueller and others were on there, including Christine Ebersole, who, talented though she be, did not sing her signature song, "Another Winter In A Summer Town," from "Grey Gardens," but a song from "Camelot" made famous by Julie, "The Simple Joys Of Maidenhood."  So, to yearn for those joys for which I and so many of us pine, here, to honor Julie is her singing the song as only she can.

Just listen to this, girls!  Happy Birthday, Jules, and many more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope she is back to singing again.
She’d been having issues with her voice.

Victoria,
I had heard the same. I do hope she
does returning to singing. That voice
was gorgeous, and once in a lifetime.
