It Should Have Been Called "Halloween Ends....Or Does It???????????????????"

David and I spent a cozy evening watching this piece of crap, courtesy of a wonderful friend able to access it for us on DVD.   As long as the money is ringing at the box office, Michael Myers will return, and Jamie Lee Curtis will play Laurie Strode till she and Michael both die!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love how they bought back Kyle Richards as Lindsay Wallace, now a grown woman and tending bar in Haddonfield, Illinois.  She was in the 1978 original and provided some of its more humorous moments.  It was great to see her here, and one of the film's few highlights.

But what was this film about?  A kid, Corey Cunningham, played by Robert Campbell, who supposedly killed a kid Jeremy, he was babysitting for, but anyone who has seen any of these films knows Michael Myers did it.  Cory is bullied and harassed throughout the film, till it looks like Michael will die, and Cory will morph into Haddonfield's next menace.

All anyone is waiting for is the showdown between Laurie and Michael.  If one has access to a DVD, fast forward to the last fifteen minutes, as nothing in this movie makes any sense.  Laurie and Michael go at it, and that's about it.

Except--and here is where room is made for the next one--Laurie is writing a book about her experiences, to help people "heal."  Yeah, right.  So, what will happen in the next installment, is Laurie's book becomes a bestseller, she does readings, and one evening, in the audience, she sees Michael.

Start writing it now, guys, and have it ready for at least two years beyond this Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Or, how about the 50th anniversary, in 2028?????????????

For genuine fun, stick to the 1978 movie!

'                                           HAPPY

                                            DARLINGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
