On February 11, 1858!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                  Who could forget this day, darlings?  One hundred sixty two years ago today, the Virgin Mary appeared to the French peasant girl, Bernadette Soubirous, at Lourdes!

                                    This moment was stunningly recreated, with Jennifer Jones, in the 1943 screen masterpiece, "The Song Of Bernadette,"  You have heard me mention it often, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                                     So, take some out today to remember this milestone, and all Bernadette has done for the people of her time, and beyond, including ours.

                                       And it wouldn't be a bad idea, time permitting to watch "The Song Of Bernadette" today.
