                                Yes, girls, here we are in 2025!  Another year of blogging, shows, gossip, coffee, and I hope health and well-being for all of us.

                                   It is a new year, so, while I only totaled 92 books read in 2024, I am still determined to read 100 this year, and if I reach it, so be it.  If not, so what?

                                    My wish is to keep communicating with you readers, as well and friends, past and present.  And good health and safety to all of you.

                                     New Years Eve was quiet.  We watched a wonderful program about "80 Years Of Rodgers And Hammerstein."  It was so moving.  Audra McDonald was at her best, with "Mister Snow," from "Carousel," and her operatic rendering of "Climb Ev'ry Mountain," from "The Sound Of Music. Then we watched Ryan Seacrest and Crowd, saw the ball drop, drank some bubbly, and went to bed.

                                       Today we are celebrating David's 65th birthday, and going to his favorite place, "Chadwick's."  It will be a quiet day, and I hope a less challenging year than 2024.
