Girls, Join Us, Tonight At Eight, As "Svengoolie" Presents The Entertaining, If Not Brilliant, "House Of Frankenstein!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

This is an all-star monster lineup, darlings, with Boris Karloff playing someone other than the monster--he is played by Glenn Strange in what was his first appearance as the Frankenstein monster.  Lionel Atwill is on hand as a mad doctor, but the two most outstanding performances come from J. Carroll Naish as a hunchback--Dwight Frye was dead by then, so forget casting him! --and a pre-"Marcus Welby, M.D". Elena Verdugo.  What develops between them is truly touching.

Which is why this film is more poignant than campy.  That was reserved for next year's "House Of Dracula."  And John Carradine plays the tallest, leanest, Dracula on record.

So, join us all at 8PM for this delight!

                                             I hope Nostalgiaferatu is there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Victoria.,
If you want to, you have to see the early portion of the film, as he unfortunately does not get much screen time.
