Remember, girls, the the quirky rock beat emanating from the radio of teen daughter Liza Bates, (played memorably bad by Barbara Merill, daughter of Bette Davis and Gary Merrill) in "What Ever Happened To baby Jane?" It is heard again, coming out of a transistor radio, (remember those, darlings????????) owned by some bikini clad California babe, playing an extra, as the Beach Scene segues into day!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, someone took that song, and made it into a musical composition, entitled "What Ever Happened Ever To Baby Jane?" It was not used as the title song, because it is SO bad; besides, how could "I've Written A Letter To Daddy," which became the film's theme song, be topped?
And, if Bette had lived long enough, I have no doubt she would have done 'Hedvwig'!!!!!!!!!!!! You probably would have won her third Oscar!
Enjoy, dolls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
