What A Prize Hypocrite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jared Fogle is not only the winner of this week's Raving Queen Bitch Of The Week Award, but a prize-winning hypocrite, the kind of hetero sexist pig gays rail against, when speaking of the heterosexual hypocrisy in America.
Jared--oh, yeah, he's straight,so he is OK--is a loser--fat, overweight, who did something with the Subway diet that elevated his fame and income to unheard of proportions, from some mediocre corporate job, or whatever the hell he was doing.
Now, it is all going to come crashing down on Jared--two wives, two kids, he is consistent--because of his predilection for little girls. Bet he jerks off to Maurice Chevalier singing "Thank Heaven For Little Girls" in "Gigi." Of course, for those like Jared, the song has an entirely different meaning from what was intended.
Of course he is from the Midwest--Indiana. Probably some Republican, anti-gay spewing religious nut. All these types are.
It seems Mr. Subway Seeming Straight Arrow is a pedophile. He downloads kiddie porn on his computer, and on his trips to Manhattan, he has holed up at places the Ritz and the Plaza, where he has asked actual prostitutes and other procurers to find him very underage girls--like 13 or 14. I wouldn't be surprised if he asked for younger.
Get those daughters out of his house, quick! Luckily, his current wife is going to be smart enough, and divorce him. You sick sex pig! This is what happens when you indulge in disgusting perversions!
Why didn't you just get a pop up snake from a can, get in the tub, and shove it up your ass?
Looks like your Subway ride has come to the end of the line, Jared!!!!!!!!!! Your future inmates are gonna LOVE you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy Birthday, Amy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today is going to be a day peppered with rantings on hypocrisy--if I have the time to get it all on here--so I thought the day should start on a happy note, by wishing Amy Adams a Happy Birthday!
Amy is 41 today, and looks as enchanting as this photo. To think she now has a husband and a daughter, several years old. And she is still radiant, and brilliant, as an actress.
Today also happens to be the day of the National Pilgrimage Of The French People to Lourdes. I don't know if Amy will be there, but she IS a miracle, that keeps on going.
Maybe we will all see Amy at Lourdes, someday, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Meanwhile, Amy, have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not Everything Has Been Mined From "Grey Gardens," Darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, my God! I am ashamed I did not think of this sooner! With all the focus on "Grey Gardens" over the years, have they ever marketed Big Edie and Little Edie dolls?????? They really should, you know! Better yet, how about a "Grey Gardens" play set, where you have a plastic reconstruction of the back of the house, with the front exposed, coming with some toy wild brush you can put around it. Then, the player can move the Big and Little Edie figures in and among the house, acting out any part of the story so desired. The set should come with a little toy plastic raccoon, with a button attached to it, that when pressed, pops out plastic poop pellets! How about water, to urinate, too? I mean, let's be authentic. Not to mention, toy plastic cat food cans, that the house can be cluttered with.
I am telling you, every queen in NYC will have this on their coffee table, and will be spending nights at home, playing the two Edies.
Maybe I could sell this idea to Fisher-Price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is Milton Bradley still around? Because, someone could also create a "Grey Gardens" board game. The object would be to move through the house, from entrance to attic, in order to feed the raccoons.
And how about coffee mugs, and tea shirts! With pictures of the house, Big Edie, and Little Edie on each. As well as some of their famous sayings!
I am telling you, there is money to be made from "Grey Gardens" yet.
So, how come I'm not rich? It's like Little Edie says--when the cat takes a shit behind the fridge, he/she is the only one having fun!
I Could Get Lost In These Arms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am telling you, girls, when Donna McKechnie, in her recent show, told the story about how thrilling it was to dance with Fred Astaire, she was mirroring how I feel about her! Only I would need months at the barre to do even a step with Donna! Oh, my God!
All this is by way of letting my girls know that the indefatigable Donna McKechnie. She is going to be starring in what sounds like a dance-theater piece, called "In Your Arms," and, darlings, I cannot wait to see it. If tickets were to go on sale now, I would be there.
Meanwhile, I have to decide what I am going to do about "Misery." Though I confess, it would give me a great deal of pleasure to see someone beat the crap out of Bruce Willis!!!!!!!!!
But back to Donna. The composers of "Ragtime" and Seussical" (Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens) are working on it, and it will feature "West Side Story" Oscar winner George Chakiris, who must be able to still kick up his heels, if he is gong to take to the stage, with Donna. Equally impressive is the lineup of writers working on this--listen to this!!!!!!!!--Douglas Carter Beane, Nilo Cruz, Christopher Durang (yes!!!!!!!), Carrie Fisher, David Henry Hwang, Terrence McNally, Marsha Norman, and Alfred Uhry!!!!!! Oh, my God!!!!!!!!!!!!
The show consists of ten dance oriented scenes, featuring Donna and others. I hope she is prominently featured in several. Christoper Gattelli will choreograph and direct. It sounds like an evening of magic!
I almost wish I could in it, myself! But I would have to start from step one!
Needless to say, I will be there to cheer Donna on, when it, hopefully, comes to New York! See you there, girls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nothing Entertains, Like A Mentally Unstable Woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to confess, girls, I have not been keeping up with "Rizzoli And Isles" this season, as the writing has been so pallid. But when I saw that last week's episode, cutely and aptly entitled "Love Taps" was about a male college student murdered by a mentally unstable woman, I knew this would liven things up. From Ann Blyth as Veda, to Jessica Walter as Evelyn Draper, and, of course, Glenn Close as Alex Forrest, you can always count on a crazy lady to add something to the mix. Often, because they are generally dressed more fashionably than their saner contemporaries. I mean, what Glenn Close did for leather and white in "Fatal Attraction' still resonates, nearly thirty years later!
Unfortunately, Laura Breckenridge, as Heather Matthews, was a bit mousy looking. Like Jennifer Jason Leigh, when she first appears as Hedy in "Single White Female." The nice thing about "Rizzoli And Isles" is it is so formulaic, one can almost figure out who the perp is, if one watches closely. When I saw them interview Heather's husband, who was a suspect, I knew Heather was the one, when she accused her husband of not being home and telling her she was pretty enough, whereas, Stuart Crane her APP boyfriend, did this. Uh huh! I had Heather good, then.
In just two short scenes, Laura nails it, as Heather. We first see her murder Stuart, who seemed a sweet guy, working his way through college, posing as cyber boy friends, by forcing him off a cliff by standing on his feet. Bitch! Then her mousy act, which did not fool me one bit. By the time the crew has it all together, they find Heather has doused the house with gasoline, and is going to torch her husband, who is bound and tied to a chair, as well as herself, because he said he was going to leave her.
Well, Heather, if you're a needy nutso, of course he is going to leave you! And I bet, once Rizzoli and Isles interviewed him, the husband knew his wife was the killer, realized what he was living with, and wanted to beat a hasty retreat, fast. But Heather just kept flicking her Bic, and saying "He said he was going to leave me!" "Why does everyone leave me?" No one's gonna leave me!" and then tosses the flame, which Korsak miraculously catches. Heather gets dragged away, and will spend the rest of her life in a loony bin.
But, in just two scenes, Laura captured her story, a girl too needy, who drove everyone away, but who had had enough and was not going to let it happen again. Even if the men had to die.
You have to watch out for these mousy types, like Heather. They come on as acquiescent, but their seeming lack of controlling behavior belies that they are calling the shots all the time. Only their victims don't know it, till too late!
Heather was such fun, darlings! With a great turn by Laura, as her!
Maybe the season is picking up, after all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's Take A Break From This August Heat, With Minister Blizzard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have no doubt Minister Blizzard could make the best Dairy Queen Blizzard out there. In my childhood days, when the DQ was at the top of Raritan Avenue, off of North Ninth, in Highland Park, NJ, a Blizzard was simply a very large sized milk shake. Today, it is vanilla or chocolate ice cream with things swirled into it--the last one I attempted to finish was vanilla with plain M and M's mixed in.
But just look at this fabulous comic art, darlings! It is a amazing I never wanted to be Wonder Woman, but I actually owned this issue at one time! Alas, the ways of our childhood go........
With the weather being the way it is, these days, a visit from Minister Blizzard could be welcome! Actually, I think MB would like our apartment--we keep the AC running high! Cool and comfortable, though some have called it cold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I am sure Minister Blizzard could freeze a nice Margarita!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sounds divine to me, darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
M. Night Shyamalan Discovers Camp!!!!!!!!!!! But Will It Succeed??????????????
Have you seen the trailer to "The Visit," girls? When I saw Granny trying to put the little girl in the oven, I thought this was a remake of "Who Slew Auntie Roo?" You can't get any campier than that, and Shelley Winters owns this role.
Now, before we get into M. Night Shyamalan, and his sagging career, I have to ask--what is it with writers, or filmmakers today, who cannot come up with original titles ? "The Visit" has, for years, been a play by Friedrich Durrenmatt, and, just recently, an unsuccessful Kander and Ebb Broadway musical, that, nevertheless, provided Donna McKechnie with two of the best numbers in her show at 54 Below. Which you know I was at, dolls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Poor M. Night Shyamalan. I cannot believe filmmakers got financial backing to make "Ouija 2," as the first was one of the worst things I have ever seen--and that is saying something for someone, such as I, who revels in horror trash. Poor M. Night; who is willing to take a risk on him, anymore. I haven't sat through one of his movies since "The Village'--and I figured that one out in about twenty minutes.
Of course, the whole Hansel and Gretel thing has been done, most notably, as stated, in 'Auntie Roo." So how original can this be? I have to admit, when a movie features a granny trying to force a kid into a modern oven, it grabs one's attention. And then I find out that Granny is going to be played by Deanna Dunagan, who was the original Violet (and some would say the one and only, but not I, because of MERYL!!!!!!!!) Weston in "August:Osage County" on stage. So, she could offer up an interesting performance.
Which means I may have to see this one, girls! I will let you know!
Here is the film's trailer. Take a look, and see what you think!
