Which One Of The Batemans Is Actually Real????????????????

                         What ever happened to Justine Bateman?  Every one my age remembers her as Mallory on "Family Ties," when she was kinda cute.  As she aged, she got ugly.  Maybe that is why she dropped out of the business.  Only I don't think that is the answer.

                            The answer comes in the form of a question.  Does Justine Bateman even exist? My answer is, she does not,  and never did. It has been Jason, in drag, all the time.

                              Think about it, girls.  The pictures above are separate;  it is not one taken together.  Jason, very young, I first saw on Valerie Harper's show, which was short lived.  Justine was never around. Then, she exploded onto the scene, as Mallory, and then Jason disappeared, for a number of years.

                                 Justine has done some stage work out in L.A.,  I think I once heard she did Abigail in "The Crucible" once. Now, that would be interesting.  Jason was out of the scene, for a time, and seemed to return, as a  full fledged grownup with his brilliant turn in "Juno."  And, of course, "Horrible Bosses."

                                 Justine and Jason cannot exist at the same time, because she is Jason's alter ego. Her biography lists him as being the younger of the two--Justine is three years older. Odd, as I always thought he was the eldest.

                                   Even if Justine were to do a cameo appearance in one of Jason's subsequent movies, viewers would now be wise to the fact that it is he.

                                     No wonder Justine never got her due. She was only half alive, to begin with!!!!!!
