I have never thought much of Emma Stone as an actress. She can be reasonably attractive, but, girls, she is not MERYL. And some writer had the temerity to describe her as "the modern Katherine Hepburn!!!!" Are you kidding me? She hasn't an ounce of Hepburn's charisma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Who the hell dressed Emma for this? If this is what we are in from Editorial Content Editor Chloe Malle, then we are getting off to a bad start, especially with the sacred September Issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought Demi Moore posing pregnant and nude was an outrage, but that was art compared to this shot of Emma. And what the hell is she wearing. ANNA, reign in Chloe, and fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That hair, oh my God!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She does seem rather “full of herself” as we used to say.
Victoria, I agree. But there is no basis for it. I don't get what others see in her.
There are no words for how misconceived that cover is. They must have been desperate to throw something at the wall at the last minute. No amount of vague platitudes like "edgy" can excuse this bad a styling exercise. The jacket is awful, her hair and makeup is from hunger the pose is ridiculous, and the bare skin totally at odds with the look they think they were going for. As the kids might say, "this is NOT it".
